The Port of Hood River donated three days of waterfront use for Kiteboarding 4 Cancer and SUP 4 Cancer!! Yeah!
The Port of Hood River comes in as a new sponsor for KB4C just one week before the big event!
The Port of Hood River pretty much runs the waterfront. If you didn’t already know, recreational opportunities are abundant at the Port of Hood River’s waterfront public access sites. The Port developed these sites for the local community as well as for visitors, supporting tourism and its economic rewards to the community. The waterfront is used for many activities, including kiteboarding, windsurfing, watersports, dog walking, and fishing.
Please be aware of the safety signage and be courteous to all users. And please, during Kiteboarding 4 Cancer, pick up all trash that you see, find, or create! 🙂
