I am so excited I just can’t contain myself. I may have to go some exert some energy in the form of a bike ride or just jumping up and down. Camp 1 Maui is just one week away!! Here’s who’s stepped up so far to help make this camp happen!
The John Wayne Cancer Foundation is our major sponsor for camp and were instrumental in making this happen! Team DUKE has been involved with Athletes for Cancer since the beginning of our event in 2007, sponsoring the first event with passion and vision! We are thrilled to have Team DUKE involved as a key partner and supporter in the fight against cancer.
The Pacific Cancer Foundation is hosting our Outrigger Day out of the Kihei Canoe Club. This will be an exciting day of adventure, culture, and teamwork! We’re are so excited to be a part of this special tradition on Hawaii.
Jimmy Lewis is a great board shaper on the Maui. I got my first custom kiteboard and SUP board from Jimmy back in the day. Jimmy was so generousas to donate the use of two SUP boards and paddles. Jimmy has also supported our event for the last 4 years and is an incredible supporter of the cause. Thank you Jimmy!!
Naish Hawaii is donating the use of SUP boards and paddles for our Surf & SUP instruction. The Naish pro shop is the place to go for surf, SUP, kite, and windsurf boards on the garden isle!
Action Sports Maui is running our surf and SUP instruction. When they’re not surfing, they’re teaching kiteboarding, and visa versa! They are focused on safety and fun all the time!
